Pesach Memories

                                    By: Simi Sperber

In a flurry of cleaning, we went through each room,
Banishing cobwebs with a mop and a broom.
No crumb dared to linger, no dust bunny stayed,
For Pesach's arrival all dirt must fade.

Toys, shoes, and seforim, everything neatly arranged,
Checked and scrubbed unnl they were changed.
                          The ki
The kitchen transformed, kashered with care,
Covered in foil not a speck to spare.

Closets taped shut, secrets safely concealed,
Prepared for the yomnf, their fate was sealed.
Then came the cooking, culinary delights,
From cakes to soups we cooked through the nights.

Lokshen and blintzes, ice cream galore,
                           Juiced fruits aple
Juiced fruits aplenty nll all arms were sore.
Cracking nuts, peeling potatoes, making compote divine,
Every dish homemade the taste is sublime.

Now at last we sit at the Seder table,
With a heart full of joy we feel truly able.
To enjoy the fruits of our labor so grand,
As we retell the story, as tradinon commands.

But as we reach for the first kos filled with grape juice so sweet,
                    But as
A spill of epic propornons oh what a feat!
Despite all the efforts the mess has been made,
But we laugh and we smile for memories are made.

Pesach's about more than just finishing each chore,
It's about family, minhagim, and so much more.
So embrace the spills and the laughs along the way,
