BE AWARE:
Unvaccinated children between 12 and 18 years old that enter Canada with fully vaccinated
parents must still quarantine. Children under 12 who are not vaccinated who enter with parents
who are fully vaccinated do not have to quarantine.

            ArriveCan:
            • All travelers coming from any country, at any age and both vaccinated and unvaccinated -
whether entering Canada by air or by land - must use ArriveCAN.
*It is important to note that aside from the fact that the law requires you to enter your
information in ArriveCan, it is also important for practical reasons. The procedure at the
border is a lot faster and smoother for everyone when you fill in ArriveCan.
            • Border officials can randomly select travelers to take a COVID-19 test at the border both by
car and by plane, even if you are vaccinated. However, there is no quarantine requirement if
you are vaccinated, even if you are randomly selected for a test.

If you do not meet the requirements of a fully vaccinated traveler,
            • You will be either denied entry into Canada (if you’re not a Canadian citizen or PR), required
to quarantine for 14 days, or required to quarantine until you depart Canada.
            • When you enter Canada, you'll be instructed to either take an arrival test at the border or
              receive a self-swab kit.
            • You will also get a kit to use on Day-8 of your mandatory quarantine

                                   IMPORTANT:

              • When the American government requires testing, it’s from age 2 and up while when the
Canadian government requires testing it’s only from age 5 and up.
              • For both governments – American and Canadian – fully vaccinated is considered 2 weeks
(14 days) after your second dose of an accepted 2-dose series COVID-19 vaccine such as
Pfizer, Moderna and AstraZeneca or 2 weeks (14 days) after your dose of an accepted
single-dose (Johnson & Johnson) COVID-19 vaccine. This means that you are considered
fully vaccinated only on the 15 day.

community. There are certain specific situations where the law might be different.
Every country has their own laws, and it is important to verify what they
are before traveling to that country.
