KIELBASA
SALAD
Wow your guests with this mouth-watering and scrumptious
Kielbasa Salad. Your friends and family will love it!
INGREDIENTS:
16 oz beef kielbasa
Salad:
16 oz Romaine lettuce
1 container grape tomatoes, halved
3 oz Gefen ramen noodles, toasted
1 cup green peas
10 oz mushrooms, sliced
oil, for sautéing
Dressing:
1/2 cup apricot jam
1/4 cup mustard
2 tbsps ketchup
2 tbsps orange juice
1/2 tsp siracha sauce
1 tbsp brown sugar
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Place the kielbasa on a cutting board with two wooden spoons on
both sides.
Cut the kielbasa into thin slices, approximately 1/8 inch thick.
The wooden spoons will help prevent you from cutting through the
kielbasa.
In a small bowl, combine the sauce ingredients and whisk until
smooth.
Place the sliced kielbasa into a 9x13-inch baking pan and
generously brush half of the sauce over the kielbasa.
Bake the kielbasa uncovered for about 45 minutes, or until it’s
crispy around the edges.
While baking, spoon the sauce over the kielbasa every 15 minutes.
In a frying pan, sauté the mushrooms in oil.
Slice one kielbasa and layer the lettuce, veggies, and kielbasa
slices onto a platter.
Place the whole kielbasa in the center of the salad and drizzle the
rest of the dressing over the top.
