                                                                                        SALAD


                                                                                        Savor the taste of Italy with this
                                                                                        Tortellini Caprese Salad. It’s the perfect
                                                                                        light and flavorful dish to enjoy for
                                                                                        Melave Malka.


                                                                                        INGREDIENTS:
                                                                                        Salad:
                                                                                        1 (14 oz) box frozen tortellini - I
                                                                                        use Bgan
                                                                                        1 (16 oz) container Mozzarella
                                                                                        balls - drained
                                                                                        1 pint Tomatoes - halved

                                                                                        Dressing:
                                                                                        2 tablespoons basil pesto


                                                                                        DIRECTIONS:
                                                                                        Start by cooking the pasta according to
                                                                                        package directions.
                                                                                        Do not overcook!
                                                                                        Allow pasta to cool.
                                                                                        In a bowl combine pasta, tomatoes,
                                                                                        mozzarella and pesto.
                                                                                        Mix well and serve.
                                                                                        This salad stays fresh in the fridge for up
                                                                                        to 5 days.
