CAR THEFTS ARE ON THE RISE IN MONTREAL

Some tips that might help you avoid being targeted:
Do not leave the dealership without a proper (insurance
acceptable) tracking device (if they see a tracking device on the car they
usually wont touch it). Some tracking devices don’t track while in
Canada (for people visiting Canada).
Install a steering wheel lock when you leave your car.
Never leave valuable items in your vehicle (including: Tfilen,
ID’s, wallet, keys etc.)
We are working on temporary tracking devices to be used until you
get yours installed. If you have ideas, knowledge or you want to
donate towards this project please email info@chaverim.ca.
The authorities are working round the clock to crackdown on these
thefts. At our recent meeting with Police officials, we were told that
this is a top priority on their agenda.
