Call for volunteers

New task force on
Outremont’s climate emergency plan
The Borough of Outremont is looking for eight volunteers to form the
Groupe de travail sur le plan d'urgence climatique et sa consultation
publique (task force on the climate emergency plan and its public
consultation). The group’s mandate will be to develop a
comprehensive climate emergency plan, to act as an advisor for the
subsequent public consultation, and to suggest themes to be
addressed.
The task force will be chaired by Borough Councillor Caroline Braun.
Applicants must be Outremont residents or business operators and
available to participate in occasional working meetings. The Borough
would like the group’s membership to reflect the values of diversity,
equity and inclusion.
Candidates are invited to send a letter of intent detailing their reasons
for wishing to be considered for membership on the task force, along
with their curriculum vitae, by Thursday, March 31, 2022, at 4:30 p.m.
Applications will be reviewed by a selection committee and
recommendations will be made to the Borough Council. Applications
